The Beddington Theatre Arts Centre (BTAC) is a vibrant, community-focused performance and rehearsal venue in North Calgary, home to StoryBook Theatre and a hub for local arts and cultural activity. While the theatre’s availability is limited due to ongoing programming and resident use, BTAC does welcome inquiries from individuals and organizations interested in renting the space for performances, rehearsals, workshops, or special events. All rental requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and interested parties are encouraged to submit a formal rental request form to be considered as availability allows.

We welcome a wide range of individuals and organizations and actively encourage groups seeking a daytime, shared-use space for meetings, conferences, workshops, and similar gatherings to submit a request. In addition, the Beddington Theatre Arts Centre is well suited to one-night-only performances that can be staged around, or in harmony with, the existing set currently installed in the theatre. This makes the venue an ideal fit for comedians, spoken-word artists, small concerts, cabarets, readings, and other intimate live performance events. While flexibility is required due to our active production schedule, we are always interested in creative uses of the space that align with the Centre’s mission and operational realities.
